Ok, if I understand you right, there is  a maximum FoV, the headset manufacturer allowes me to see. If my distance is too far from the lenses, the seen FoV can be smaller, but at a perfect distance, I see the maximum and I will not be able to see more, because it is no longer rendered on the panel itselve.

This means there is a perfect lens to eye distance and you will not be able to get more FoV, even, if you go closer to the lense....

If I understand that right, the G2 can only render a maximum FoV of 98° horizontal and 94° vertical and every youtuber talking about 110° with the G2 uses an older, wrong calibrated version of your tool?

Than I have to find a gasket, that makes it possible for me to view that maximum FoV and it makes no sense to get closer.

Hello, I bought the tool to measure the difference in FOV of different types of face gaskets on my Reverb G2. While some youtubers tested the G2 with more than 110° vertical, I can only measure about 94° horizontal and 90 Vertical.  With alternate face gasket I got 98 and 94°. I am using the recalibrated december  version of the tool. Which measurement is the right one? The one I measure or the one the others got? Do they use older versions of the tool? The FoV does not look like to be that much higher in vertical...
